Stained Glass Mosaics

For the last several months I have been creating stained glass mosaics.  I look for old windows that I can recycle into creative pieces of art.  These finished windows can be used as wall art in your gardens or suspended indoors in front of windows.

The window mosaic below was selected to be exhibited in the "Emancipation and Freedom" show at the Torpedo Factory in the Art League Gallery.

Stained Glass Mosaics

For the last couple of months, I've been looking for old recycled windows so I could create mosaics on top of the glass to give the window a stained glass look.  I've had fun creating these windows  and had my last creation accepted at the Torpedo Factory and is now on exhibit.

As I continue to look for ways to express myself with all of these tiny pieces of glass, I have been enjoying looking for old recycled windows that I can mosaic, in the end, they look like stained glass..
